Cartersville scored 37 first quarter points en route to a 58-6 victory over Class AAA #4 Calhoun Friday Night at Weinman Stadium.

Trevor Lawrence threw four touchdown passes and the Hurricane defense did not allow the Yellow Jackets to cross midfield in the first half. Rico Frye had over 150 yards of total offense and scored both a rushing and receiving touchdown. The win extended Cartersville’s winning streak to 33 games.

The Hurricanes return to action Friday, September 8 at Westlake.
