Holiday Hammers – Dec 21 to Jan 2

 Welcome to the midway point of the season … congrats to everyone for getting to this point. We, as a sport, have had out ups and downs – some have been quarantined quite a long time (others haven’t). But the post-season is within sight and hopefully we can all get there. This week we have the Holiday Hammers that spans two weeks (Dec 21 to Jan 2) … congrats to everyone listed. Need a reminder of how the hammers are chosen? See below.

Hammers are selected by their coaches, an opposing coach, or by me (SeWrestle). I prefer to choose as few as possible, but do pick a few when a state or area of a state is not participating. So what is a hammer? If this is your first time to the page please read the disclaimer … it is important to understand that the term has a broad definition.

Congrats to the young men and women that are recognized below for their contributions to their teams this past week.

EAIDEN NEAL – CARTERSVILLE (106)

9-1 for the week of 12/28/2020 – 1/2/2021. He finished 2nd at the Rockmart Invitational, with his only loss to Rockmart’s (#1 Ranked in 3A) TK Davis. He went 5-0 at the Spartan Duals at South Paulding HS on 1/2/2021 with defeats over Cambridge, Central Carroll, Lumpkin Co., West Forsyth, and McEachern.
