Recap of 2020-2021 GHSA Region 7-AAAAA Traditional Championships @ Cass HS
We entered 12 wrestlers into the 2020-2021 GHSA Region 7-AAAAA Traditional Championships @ Cass HS. This was the first year Cartersville HS has ever competed at the AAAAA Classification. Teams in the competition were Blessed Trinity, Calhoun, Cartersville, Cass, Hiram, and Woodland. We were able to qualify 7 of our 12 wrestlers to the state tournament by finishing in the top 3. We had 5 Region Runner-Ups and 2 Third Place finishers. We finished in 3rd place as a team (a one spot improvement over our duals performance a couple of weeks ago). We also had 2 Alternates that still have a chance to get in the State Tournament if any of our Region Wrestlers at their weights are unable to participate for any reason.
