Gymnastics Wins Quad Meet

The gymnastics team won its first meet of the season in a quad meet against Harrison, Roswell, and Sequoyah. The overall score of 104.3 qualified the team for the Area competition. Alecia Price (senior), Sydney Lauryn Barrett (junior), and Amber Seymour (freshman) competed all four events in the all-around competition. Sarah Myrick (junior) competed on the bars and beam.

Cartersville Boy’s soccer team defeats Pickens 5-2 to improve to 2-0 in region 7AAAA. Cartersville developed an early lead by jumping out to 2 goal lead with both goals coming from Fernando Enamorado. Canes Move on to 2nd Round of State Playoffs

The Canes defeated North Hall 56-33 Wednesday night advancing them to the 2nd round of State Playoffs. They are scheduled to take on Americus-Sumter this Saturday in the Storm Center at 7PM. Ticket prices are $7. Come pack the Storm Center Saturday night and show your school spirit by helping cheer the Canes to victory!
