Gymnastics Wins Quad Meet on Senior Day

The Canes gymnastics team won a quad meet on Saturday, March 21. The overall score of 103.35 led to a victory against Roswell, North Oconee, and Etowah. The gymnastics team finished 2nd in the Norwood-Floyd Invitational held in Dunwoody on Saturday, March 14. There were 14 teams in attendance. The gymnastics team won its first meet of the season in a quad meet against Harrison, Roswell, and Sequoyah. The overall score of 104.3 qualified the team for the Area competition. Alecia Price (senior), Sydney Lauryn Barrett (junior), and Amber Seymour (freshman) competed all four events in the all-around competition. Sarah Myrick (junior) competed on the bars and beam.
